First of all, check-in was needlessly complicated. I had to phone the place to get the code for my key but that didn't work properly. Then I was told (not by the owners but by other guests after shouting through their open windows) that they had a different hotel where they were at and that I had to go there. The problem was that I arrived late in the evening and nobody was there anymore, so I had to spent the night on the floor in the corridor after another guest thankfully let me in. At least they offered a refund for that night and I think they upgraded my room as well. From the interaction I had with the staff, they were quite friendly. The bed was also quite comfortable and the room was decently clean. The bathrooms and hallways were also more or less fine in that department, but I encountered a little spider or a moth here and there. The internet conection was atroscious. It even went out entirely one day and it hadn't been fixed when I departed; it was gone for at least four days. There was also not a table or chair to be found. I had to sit down on the counter when I was eating lunch in the kitchen. The location is also so-so. You can get decently quickly into the city centre, provided the busses aren't on strike, which they were for almost a week. But the streets around the area are littered with rubbish and the train passes by frequently, which you are certainly going to hear if your window is open. Overall, definitely do not come here for longer stays. A night or two should be fine.

This 'hotel' robbed my money. I book a room the night before and went there the next day and there was no one on the premises and the phone number was invalid as well as no response from email. I now can't get my money back for a room I never stepped foot in. Avoid at all costs!

No way should this be described as 3☆. Not very clean especially bathrooms. Check in had to wait for lady to arrive told to move car as big gangs of kids cause nuisance every night on the corner we parked. No check out instructions given. Thankfully we only stayed 1 night definitely wouldn't of liked to stay for 2. Rooms very warm even with radiators off. Definitely stay else where.

I expected more, the rooms and bathroom weren't as clean as they should. Floor edges and corners looked like they have not been vacuumed or cleaned. Also we stayed in a dounle room, which was very tiny and the window cannot be opened, it was a stuffy 2 night for us. I would rather pay £10 more per night and stay in travelodge or premier inn. It is a bread and breakfast with no breakfast. Staff was nice though!
