Would highly recomend Abbey Builders. Great communication, no waiting around for nothing. They turned up at 8 every morning and dont stop until the job was done. Everyday was left clean and tidy and Sam the manager was on site to check works and if we was happy throughout. Great job, and will be calling for any jobs in the future. Thank you.????????
Having had work done last week, I have already passed on Abbey’s number to friends. Would highly recommend the team. Professional, honest and efficient service. Friendly, hardworking team - all conscientious and take pride in their work - Carl and Alan completed the damp proofing work very well and quickly, which meant Paul and George could get on with the excellent plastering and joinery work. Ray, the foreman, communicated every stage of the work very well and ensured the job was undertaken and completed to deadlines and to a high standard. Thanks to all the lads! ????????
Had Abbey Builders in to do a damp course in my house. They did an excellent job. Turned up on time every day, covered all floors and furniture to protect them and the boss Sam came along each day to check the work was progressing as planned. All the tradesmen (builders, plumbers, plasterers and joiner) did a great job and were great to deal with. They even sent someone to clean up at the end (there's a first. Other builders take note !!!). Great price too. Would highly recommend. Paul
Fantastic work all round. Had Abbey Builders come out to quote us for a job regarding damp in our house. The work was carried out and completed within 3 days! They put sheets down on the floor and stairs. They took care with our furniture and made sure everything was clean at the end of the job. All we need to do is paint the walls now! Cannot fault them! Lee was extra helpful answering our questions and just giving us general advice for other work on our house. Sam was great when giving us the initial quote, no surprises and work was carried out to how he said it would! Will definitely recommend and will use abbey again in the future!
Having read so many 5-star reviews for Abbey Builders I got a quote for some damp-proofing and went ahead with the work. I can't speak highly enough of the team from Abbey that I dealt with. Mike gave me confidence from the start when he explained the work that needed to be done and answered all my questions. Project Manager Sam was in regular contact throughout and even scheduled in some additional and not insubstantial jobs that I asked for after work had started. Peter, Stewart and George all did a brilliant job and respected our home. Everything was covered up at the start, there was constant cleaning and clearing of rubbish along the way and a big clean up when work was completed. Plus, everyone I met was friendly and helpful. The freshly plastered walls and new skirtings look great and it is reassuring that the damp-proofing is guaranteed for years to come. I also have a newly smooth ceiling and floor thanks to the team's flexibility and hard work. I would use Abbey Builders again and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.
